Christopherson Media Productions ("CMP," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the CMP mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information When you create an account, we collect your full name, email address, and phone number. This information is required to identify you as a user and to facilitate communication regarding your bookings. Booking and Event Information When you submit a booking inquiry, we collect event details including the event date, time, location (Google Maps address), duration, jersey number (if applicable), position or events (if applicable), and any additional details you provide. Contract and Signature Data When you sign a contract electronically through the App, we collect your typed signature, the date and time of signing, and any information entered into the contract fields such as your address and minor consent details. Payment Information Payment processing is handled by Square, a third-party payment processor. CMP does not directly collect or store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive financial information. Device and Usage Data We may collect general device information such as device type, operating system, and app usage patterns to improve the App experience and troubleshoot issues. Notification Preferences We store your notification preferences to deliver relevant updates about your bookings, gallery availability, schedule changes, and other App-related communications.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: • Create and manage your user account • Process and manage booking inquiries and confirmations • Facilitate electronic contract signing between you and CMP • Direct you to the appropriate payment links for retainer and balance payments • Send in-app notifications about booking status updates, gallery readiness, and payment confirmations • Provide access to private galleries using custom access codes after full payment • Communicate with you regarding your bookings and service inquiries • Improve and maintain the App's functionality and user experience
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
CMP does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances: • With Square for payment processing as described above • With CMP administrators who manage bookings, contracts, galleries, and communications • When required by law, regulation, or legal process • To protect the rights, property, or safety of CMP, our users, or others
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored locally on your device and may be synced to secure servers for backup and cross-device access. We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Booking records, contracts, and payment status information are retained for a minimum of three (3) years after the completion of the booking for legal and business record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us directly.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: • Access the personal information we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information • Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations • Opt out of non-essential notifications at any time through the App settings
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a minor is the subject of a photography session, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and manage the booking on the minor's behalf as outlined in our Main Booking Contract.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
